“After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.  There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. The angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.'” Matthew 28:1-6

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners.

Mission Statement

ask.

seek.

knock.

Our Roman Catholic faith community is centered on Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We come together in the love of Christ around the table of the Lord trying to be his family. We welcome all to join us. Our belief in the Scripture, the Sacraments, the teaching of the Catholic Church, and our compassion for others enables us to live the Gospel Message.

God our Father, you have chosen Pope Francis, as the shepherd of shepherds to lead your Church; the successor to the Apostle Peter and Vicar of Christ on earth.  Grant him wisdom and strength to govern with fidelity to your holy word.  Grant him courage and compassion to build up your church in unity and peace.  We pray through your Son Jesus Christ.

Please pray for our RCIA Candidates and Catechumens who will be welcomed fully into the Church at the Easter Vigil Mass, April 19, 2014 at 8:30pm.

Pray for them that they will be protected from evil; that they will stand strong in their decision to become full members of the Catholic Church; that they will embraced and guided by the strong examples of faith in our community; and that will continue to grow in their relationship with Christ and His Church.

Congratulations to our Confirmation class of 2014!

Confirmed in the faith on March 15th by Bishop Cepeda
