Trivia at The Raven

Please let Beth Dolan know if you will be playing Trivia by Thursday of each week, so she can reserve the chairs for the big game at The Raven. We gather beginning at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:00 p.m. game.

 

Ash Wednesday – February 26

Lent begins on Wednesday, February 26.  If you are interested, St. Mary’s will have two masses--8:15 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

 

Operas –Saturday, February 29

The Opera Agrippina by Handel which is a telecast from the Metropolitan Opera will begin at 12:55 p.m. Because this is a black comedy, you may want to read about the production before you add it to your schedule.

 

Lenten Retreat—Saturday, February 29

Holy Trinity, 325v32nd Street, Port Huron, MI, is having a Lenten retreat from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you would like to attend, reservations are required.  For reservations, please call Amy at (810) 300-0417 or email at Amyhfh@gmail.com The day is free with a lunch provided.

 

Disney Jr. Willy Wonka – March 5-8

The Port Huron Civic Theatre is performing Willy Wonka from March 5-8.  There may be the opportunity to see the production during a special showing—March 5???

 

Monthly Meeting – Wednesday, March 11

We will meet at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, to peruse the deals at Bright Bargains, 3292 Lapeer Rd., Port Huron Charter Township, MI 48060. We will have our monthly meeting following the shopping.

 

Sight and Sound Production—Tuesday, April 7

The Sight and Sound Theatre is showing Jesus at Krafft 8 on Tuesday, April 7 at 6:30 P.M. The tickets will cost $12. I recommend that we purchase these tickets early.

 

Opera – Tosca, Saturday, April 11

The Opera Tosca will be at 12:55 p.m. at the Krafft 8.  This is a telecast of the Metropolitan Opera’s production.

 

Leadership Workshop—Thursday, April 23

The third leadership meeting at St. Mary’s Social Hall at 7:00 p.m.  Remember to write 100-word testimony describing how your involvement in Singles Together has brought you closer to Christ. Barb Britz is looking for your feedback at sbritz38@comcast.net before the April 23 meeting. There will be a drive to obtain new members in May.
